Back and forth to the dealer

Welcome to the forum. When I worked at a dealership I will never forget a car that kept coming in with weird electrical issues. One day, we decided to pull a door panel and saw the waterline. I just think you are going to always be wondering "what next" when buying a flood car. So many problems can come down to just a bit of resistance from corrosion where water was never meant to be.
When I was a teenager, my friends truck went swimming. The swampy smell on humid days never went away.
I really do wish you the best and if you straighten it out that will be great.

My guess is the dealer can't actually find the problem without going through every wire and connector in the car and even then might not find it. They have no magic way to tell. You may be able to search your wiring diagrams to figure out where all the items that are not working come together. If you have replaced all modules then I would start cleaning connectors. A very minor voltage drop at the connector will stop communication on the canbus lan.

Who is selling these cars?
These should be in a salvage yard so we can buy parts on eBay.

My guess is mine will end up on Craigslist far away from Houston as well.

Corvettes are delivered in a transport mode which disables most of the electronics to prevent battery discharge. Perhaps as the electronics were switched out, it reverted to transport? Unlikely but anything is possible.

Sounds like an opened ended project. Good luck and thanks for sharing the interesting story.

I think it just needs to be programmed. All those new computer modules. The mechanic was sick when he was working on it. Service dept in a rush. They just wanted to get the car out of there. The mechanic called off the next few days after all this. Maybe he missed something. I just have to wait till spring to drive it over and have him look at it. Maybe he didn't finish on purpose. Just to get more money out of me. I hate dealerships and realtors
