Default Behind stereo compartment access

Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the liner in the compartment behind the stereo. I'm working on a project and want to run some wires in and out of there. In particular, I want to put a couple 12 volt receptacles in there to power some devices in there. Any thoughts/instructions/pictures would be very helpful

Thanks

I managed to run wires into the cubby hole without removing the unit. The box that makes up the cubby is part of the infotainment screen and is replaced with the screen, so keep that in mind if future repairs are needed. My screen was replaced and my wiring had to be cut, by me cuz the dealer wouldn't touch a non-GM accessory, and rewired later.

What I did was drill a small hole in the lower left corner of the box and ran a fish wire out and down, using it to pull my wires in with. There's a plastic component just behind the box so there's only a half inch or so space between to work your wires in through. I read where someone did a similar job on the right side. Removal of the infotainment screen assembly is beyond my experience. Hope this helps.

I know Been a while but once you drilled the small hole where and how did you fish wires too, I just need to get a camera fee to a small monitor that I wanna put behind there but when I look up under there from the driver side looks pretty crazy
