Help with removing HUD projector

There is a thread somewhere on the Forum here where a member installed a HUD in a non-HUD C7. Pretty much remove/dissasemble the entire dash to get to it, IIRC, and it makes sense to remove the HUD projector would be the same steps.
I'll see if I have it bookmarked, but I do remember it is VERY long and involved -- nowhere near as easy as the C6 was in that regard.
