Infotainment System Flicker question
Has anyone else associated an occasional flickering in their infotainment screen when (1) the system transitions from WiFi to 4G LTE cell data (2) when a WiFi network comes within range when driving, or (3) when encountering a 4G LTE dead zone/gap?
It does not appear to be the connector used with the blue video wires since it is independent of raising/lowering the screen; or a defective screen as the touch panel works properly while flickering. Dealership thinks it could be interference but I am thinking it is a software transition issue between WiFi and 4G LTE. Don't want to have the dash taken apart to replace the screen if others have encountered this.

There is an HMI module that is located in the driver's side footwell on the left. That is probably causing the problem as it has all the software for the infotainment system. A relatively easy swap....probably less than 30 min. The dash will not be touched.
