Front scrape
How often do you guys scrape your front ends on driveways or even on the road?
Are those scrape guards they sell worth using or do they just add to the problem by creating less clearance?

Just what are you scraping?
If it is the air dam, no big deal, if it is the radiator supports, or the rocker panels then is much more serious.
My thoughts on the "scrape guards" of any sort is that they do reduce clearance, so that just adds to to problem.
We need more info for your particular problem.

its a problem. stock only if you hit a significant bump or steep driveway
After adding a procharger and front air dam its a constant concern. Scraps on driveway entrances to businesses, g' outs, bumps. The procharger is kinda heavy and sits out in front of the engine so after it was added scraping more often. Have thought about raising the front but not sure if its possible?

The front clearance (to the front facia) on a C7 without the splitter installed is really good - better than my mother's Nissan Altima, which will scrape on my driveway apron if not super careful.
The standard splitter, it adds 2" in overhang and you lose about 1.5" in height (the Z06 stage 2 aero is even longer and lower), so it will scrape more.

Ground clearance is actually pretty good on the Stingray. The bottom of my front bumper has never scraped but the air dams do but that’s not really a problem since they are flexible. I’ve since added the OEM stage 1 splitter and it gets scrapped quite often.

Might also consider a protector for your skid pad! This is a PDF of that install on my Z51 and Grand Sport: http://netwelding.com/Skid_Pad_Protector.pdf
PS: If your worried about scraping the rubber air dams-don't. They are designed to scrape and bend and are an early warning you're about to hit the aluminum skid pads!
Scrape Armor Installed under splitter
Scrape Armor "scraped" but no harm to splitter.
FANG's are inexpensive and add protection. Added to my C7 Z51, scraped twice and now Grand Sport.

Melting Slicks
I have these on my C7 GS. Works very well, simple install, and they have scrapes that did not end up on my carbon fiber splitter.
