Just a SWAG from me but that was probably the straw that broke the camel's back and got the car sold. Flickering and black screens are dealer visits and often gets the screen replaced.

Its my understanding that this is a common problem with the 14's. Most need new hardware it seems but I'm not 100 sure

If you determine that you need a new infotainment screen you might do a search of the forum. I have seen threads about folks getting the infotainment screens from the manufacturer of the screens and not from the dealer and saving $$$$.

I have a 14 that did this also. Mine is the cable that connects to the screen. On the drivers side of the co sole at the front there is a small triangle piece that snaps out. It's barley big enough to reach a couple of fingers in behind the info screen. If your screen is flickering you can move the cables and see the screen stop and start flickering with movement of the wires. I ended up pushing the wires to one side about 4 months ago and it has not flickered since. If it continues I am considering having the connection soldered to see if that would fix it.

Same problems here. Considering upgrading to a unit with Android Auto someday, if possible.

I keep seeing the "triangle piece that snaps out". Can someone point that out? Even on a stock photo.

Ahhh, is it this piece?

Somehow I've never noticed that while sitting in my car.

I'll try to get to it this weekend and report back. Have to remove my bumper AGAIN because the new spoiler is rubbing on the hatch.

There was a previous, long thread about this problem. See: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-warranty.html
