Default C7 dash threads

We purchased a new C7 and the stitching on the dash is starting to fray. The dealer said the only alternative is to replace the dash which we are not going to do. Any suggestions? I tried to send a picture with this post but no luck.

Try the C7 General forum for the first part.

Live with it or replace it... You put a sealer on it and it will most likely fail in no time.

Which part of the dash? Much of it is very easy to replace.

For a new car, isn't it covered under warranty? If it is, then why wouldn't you replace the dash...? Just checking to see what I am missing here.
