I am on this site because I own a 2017 grand sport and a 2006. Asking for advice. The 2006 automatic will go into all gears including reverse but car willnot move,. Any ideas why and would you take it to Chevy dealer or local transmission place for repair. I am not handy at all. Thank you.
You should have asked about the 2006 in the C6 Forum so the Mods may move this.
What do you mean it will go into all gears but won't move? Are you saying the transmission engages but you encounter resistance to movement? Any possibility you washed the car and put away immediately resulting in the brakes being "frozen, rusted"?

too many variables. Take it to whoever specializes in corvettes within reasonable distance. Where do you live? What town or area.
I went on c6 site no replies. Its not the brakes, car does not engage when put into any gears drive or reverse. To be honest not confortable with transmission places, but dealers are so over priced and are they trained for trans I don;t know.
