What is everyone's opinion on these? Will these work ok to tie down on an enclosed trailer. I have read on towing publications to never tie down to any aluminum components on c7's. Could this effect alignment at all?

Same thing I was thinking, why not just use the slots at the jacking points?

Arent the tie down points made out of aluminum? I tie the front of my Z06 with straps over the tires and cross strap the rear with straps over the wishbones on the rear suspension. May change the rear to mimic the front-this allows body to float and yet securely ties car to trailer.

Quite a bit of difference from a structural perspective from tying into a tie-down slot in a high grade aluminium frame rail using a "T" hook as opposed to utilizing a bracket bolted into a random aluminium component.
