So what is the Walmart warranty?
My ACDelco has a 42 month, free replacement with 770 CCA.- 48PG
AGM batteries do recover faster for frequent starts, but don't think they actually last any longer on the average than standard battery.

did some comparsion shopping recently and on avg my shop sells/installs delco oe batteries for less or same price than walmart and AAA
Is your "shop" a GM dealer or an independent Delco retailer? I can't find one near me that is competitive with Walmart or Sam's. I may make a visit in person to see if they offer an senior or military discount. I would prefer to say with Delco but also would like an AGM. Does Delco sell a compatible AGM battery for the C7?

no private shop, ac delco / national part supply retailer.
I can look it up and let u know... not sure if i remember my password so i might have to check tomorrow for you
I've not replaced the battery in my 2015 C7 yet, but have purchased 2 replacement batteries thus far, for my Porsche, at Walmart. Last I knew there are only two battery manufacturers in the US, so it doesn't make much difference where you buy, when you're doing your own installation. Battery prices have gone up--the first replacement battery I purchased for my Porsche in 2011, cost $58. When I replaced that one last Fall, the new one was quite a bit more but still less than any other alternatives in my area (and I'm not real keen about driving around with batteries, all around the DFW metroplex).
I avoid Walmart as much as possible. That is one store I hate shopping at.. So.... There is no way I'm buying a battery for my Corvette or any other vehicle I own from that place. I can't wait for Walmart to somehow go bankrupt.

There are two manufacturer items I always stick with when replacing. The battery and windshield wiper blades. Just from my experience those OEM parts last longer and better.
