I was at the local Wally store and saw that they now stock a battery for the C7. The higher end battery has just as many cranking amps as some others and a decent warranty. I believe they are made by a major manufacturer but I did not ask.
I have used these batteries many times in my current and past cars, and never had major any problems. One was replaced under warranty with no questions asked.

Anyone using one of these batteries in there C7?
No reason not too! THEY ARE LIKE ALL BATTERIES. likely MADE BY THE SAME OUTFIT. I bought several of their batteries and they provided good service.
Most per say just a reg battery are the same look at the cold cranking amps plus the warr on 36 r 48 months & go from that. For a reg battery Walmart is as good as any other as long as you are doing apples to apples let say... Robert
Only for my riding mower. They battery for my mower lasts for 2-3 years(even on a float charger) and then another $30 for a new one. $10 to $15 for a battery each year is not going to break me.
For my three Corvettes and my Mercedes, I use nothing but AutoZone Duralast Gold batteries. The last one in my Mercedes was good for 9 or 10 years(new one was $165 back in December) and the current one in my C6 Z06 has been in there for the past 6.5 years, with no signs of puking.
Not in my Corvette, but I wouldn't hesitate if the price was right for the right battery. I ran a Wally World Battery in an F-150, and it lasted until I traded the truck. I was still good after almost 6 years.
Thanks. I may buy one. I like the folks at Sam's. Installed 5 new TPMS sensors I bought from Amazon in my wife's RX for less than what the dealer wanted to install 1.
