I found a 2014 3LT yellow with Kalarhi interior, 12k miles, and the following options:
- chrome wheels
- NPP
- Z51
- GT seats (non competition)
- regular dash (non-carbon fiber)
- manual
they want 45k plus 300 doc fee and then taxes. Is this too much?
I haven't found a lot of yellow vettes with kalahari but I don't want to spend thousands more to have it. I have trying to get it down to low 40s, but they won't budge.
I tried to negotiate they put on side skirts or PPF on the bumber, but they said no.
Thanks for the input.

They are bending you over with the doc fees. $300 is pure greed
I bought last year in Jan, close but not the same...
Yellow 14, 3LT, NON Z51 5200 Miles
- chrome wheels
- NPP
- GT seats (non competition)
- regular dash (non-carbon fiber)
- Auto
42,000
The Z51 and Manual adds some but the mileage takes away.. Just a ballpark but about 1500 over if you were buying in Jan like me... Today, beginning of summer, that is probably the best your going to get...
Go for it if it checks the boxes you were looking for

I already have.....Here is story.
They have had the car since july or August of last year. I called back in September when they had the car listed for 49.9K. They would only go down to 47.9k then, saying that is what they had in it. Followed up in October. Same story. I called in february and they have it listed for 47.9k and I got them down to 45K. they said they wouldn't go lower because of summer weather was "just around the corner" and they think it will go fast.
They are down about 5k from where they started. I wanted to know if that was a good deal as someone else might come in and just buy it if I wait too long. But if it is not a good deal, then I will wait longer and see if it goes another month or so before calling them back to see if they will go lower.

If that car is the combo you’re looking for you should buy it. When considering the whole market, that price is fine but not a steal. Based on the rarity of that setup though, if you are picky on what you’re looking for, you should buy it before someone else does. Is it really worth the few grand you’re negotiating over to “win” when you could have a car to enjoy and “lose”?
I don't agree with philosophy of "if you want it, just buy it." That makes no sense to me. What good is it to go buy something knowing the seller is bending you over? That car is overpriced by about $1500. Not to mention, it's been sitting on their lot for about 8 months...that's because it's been overpriced and it still is. There are plenty of good used Vettes out there at fair prices. You owe it to yourself to get a good car you're happy with while paying a fair price.
KBB (Buying from a dealer) is showing a fair marker value of 46K give or take a few bucks . But, you have to consider how you will retrieve the car, truck it home or drive. That will be an added cost for you. I'm sure that color combo (that you want) is a rare bird, so that's an added plus for this car So, it's one of those hard decisions for you. If it's the exact color combo I wanted, and with only 12K miles I would try my best to make the deal. But, that's just me. Good luck.

As DOC fees go, that is not a high one. Ohio state law limits them to $295 and that is low as states go. Florida dealers generally start at $695 and go up from there which is true in many other states without a law regulating them.
