2015 Corvette Stingray C7
I have a 2015 C7 Stingray convertible, 7800 miles, purchased new 4-15-15.
For the last three (3) years I have been up/down the corporate ladders of both the dealership & GM trying to find a definitive answer/relief to the issue of “squeaky brakes”.
The “party line” was always “cannot verify customer concern” and out the door I would go with no resolution to what is an intermittent problem.
In 7800 miles/3 years, my dealership visits were for
minor repairs i.e. oil changes etc. & the brake squeaking issue was always presented as a “concern”.
On one of these routine visits (10-16-16) the technician/mechanic actually added “verified customer concern” (squeaky brakes). The dealership service performed:
”sprayed lubricant....”!!
As most of u know, this is an intermittent not constant, problem.
So, I have four days (4) left on my warranty and reach out to u for advice.
PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE as a retired judge/lawyer I am well aware of my legal remedies so no need to suggest solutions in that arena.
And, please remember I have approached every human being who has weighed in on this issue with the same set of facts and I have received all kinds of advice, most of which were useless.
What I now need to know is how best to get GM’s attention short of litigation.
Thank u.
