I had a flat on the back right rear so I went with the Michelin as3+ ZP. It's good I had the flat cuz when I went back to the tire dealer he showed me one of my front tires had the steel belt showing on the outside of the inside tire tread. I check the tires for wear but never spun them to check 360. Guess I will now. Only got 21,826 miles out of the original OEM tires. That's probably good compared to some who may hard.
I just installed Continental EXTREMECONTACT SPORT and love them, they are NOT run flat so take that into your decision... At 980 for Max Performance Summer installed it's hard to beat....
Back in my BMW M3 and M5 ownership days, this was my go to tire, and never complained. Actually surprised me with how well they performed for the price compared to how much Michelins cost.

There are also many that idealize that Michelins to be the end all be all tire, and I'm not sure if they end up being preferred biasedly by name (Michelin vs.Cont) OR if its because some are not considering the price difference for Continentals in how closely they perform to Michelins within the same class.
See this comparison in Tirerack, the Extremes don't fair too bad, and I was expecting to see a night and day difference in the Performance Data Section. Also just noticed the Conti Extremes are a direct OEM sized replacement for my Z06 (285/335)for half the cost, but with no RFT option. So question arises, how bad do I need RFT?
