All you guys who say they have no rash on the splitter are from SAND states with no hills and no Curbs. 35+ years ago the word "Curb" was part of an SAT, and LSAT test
for kids, all the Sand and rural kids had no clue what a "Curb" was, (taken off the test) . My splitter get's banged once a month, I just wrap it in CF look a like film, Till I want to spend $ 1,350. on a new one.
My car is lowered all the way down on stock bolts. Poverty splitter does not scrape but deflectors do on steep incline of driveway and I go slow over speed bumps and severe dips in road. It will definitely crunch into curbs. I have front cameras but mostly back in to parking spots. I like the look a lot better with the splitter. Mine is painted carbon flash.

Thanks everyone for all of your replies and for all of the pics ....you sure helped me as I make some decisions in the next few weeks on how to dress up my Vette.... also it's a great way to spend a Sunday when I'm snowed in!
Depends on the driveway. My Z51 C7 Carbon visible carbon splitter was about like the Stage 2 aero carbon fiber one on my Grand Sport. Side air dams hit with over 2 inch clearance in the front of the splitter.
Splitter has 5 1/2 inch clearance, and has over 2 inch clearance when side air dams scrape.
Grand Sport Stage 2 Aero Carbon Fiber Slitter, Painted Carbon Flash with Added Stage 3 Winglets
Thanks again so much for posting your pictures and your comments on the front splitter..... it really gives me a lot of useful information when I make my decision.... we just got 14 inches of snow this weekend so it looks like my Corvette won't come out of storage till the first week of May (ugh)
