Should I add a splitter onto the front of my 2015 Stingray?...Will it really make a difference- or is it just for show.....also would it make the front too low?
I just added the front splitter and lowered my '15. The 2 side air dams scrape my drive way apron much more. Underside of front splitter barely scrapes. Adds a little to the look of the front.
I added the GM splitter to my 15. Very inexpensive. Figured that with no front cameras the splitter would hit the curb first and protect the front of the car.
bought the stage one (poverty) splitter and the matching side skirts for about 3 bills and another hundred bucks for installation; looks much better, does not scrape anymore than previously and the side skirts do have a real (other than appearance) benefit of helping to keep rocks off the side of the car, plus much less stress than doing (really nice looking) carbon fiber versions which are 2 -3 times more expensive and raises the concerns about scratching/damaging them.
Thanks for adding your piece to this discussion ......I would also like to add the side skirts too....where did you get yours from? By the way for all of you I have attached a picture of my car .....unfortunately I live in Minnesota and the car is still in storage .....hopefully at the end of this month it will be in my garage!
I replaced my poverty splitter with the ACS stage 2 in carbon flash. I'm keeping the poverty splitter for when I tear up the ACS splitter on a fecking semi truck recap or other unavoidable roadkill.
