Well, I'm pretty giddy; I can't stop walking back and forth to the garage just to peek at it. I paid $54.5k OTD. That probably sounds a little high to you guys, but I've been searching over a month and it was the best deal I could find, and I still had to drive over an hour to a Chevy dealership out of the city. Pics to come as soon as it gets light outside.

I was really, really concerned about the ground clearance. That's why I was also considering the 2SS. So far driving it around this weekend over a myriad of different speed bumps and angles I'm shocked nothing has scraped or scrubbed in the slightest! This truly might be my DD!

believe me it will scrape, but it's usually just the air dam, mine scrapes when I make a sweeping right turn & on alot of roads around here.
I can't even imagine lowering it without switching to coilovers.

Normally I have buyers remorse a few days after making a large purchase like this, no matter what it is. Not this time. I'm absolutely in love with this car. Don't tell my wife.

I just bought my First ever Vette(2017 1LT) in Feb this year. It's a base Stingray but I have to agree with you on the buyers remorse. I am very happy with my car, it does what I want it to do with ease. My wife already knows I love my Black Betty.

The little diddler dealies that hang down from my C7's nose trained me pretty well about what the nose tip could, and couldn't, clear safely.

I'm not sure if all C7's have them, but I suspect they do. Not sure what they are called, little air dams. Like reverse mud flaps on the front wheels. If those aren't scraping, you're fine.

That's a well know corollary to the laws of physics: Conservation of mess... can not be created or destroyed... etc, etc. Happens to me, too.

Your car sounds very similar to what I purchased... 2016 Blade Silver Z51 2LT A8. Even the mileage was close to my 2739. And if you think the price is right who are we to disagree. Mine still had plastic on the driver's floor and rocker panels and still smells new.

I haven't had any problems scraping. In fact it scrapes less than my C6 did. Just take the car out and drive, drive, drive. Then get up the next day and repeat.

By the way, when I was at Purdue in the NESEP program I knew a few bubble-heads. USMC 1966-70. Semper Fi.

Yeah; the only remorse I've felt so far is the remorse of not buying one sooner!
