Yes, they are just held in by tension. When you snug the bolts down, it should hold it in place.
dont know you are still active, but this guide really helped me fix an issue with my factory winglets. For some unknown reason, the alignment and fit of the splitter to winglet wasn’t perfect, and the dealer tried to solve by over tightening the rear large bolt to the splitter. This resulted in the winglet deformation seen in pics, and horrible fit on that side.
I used a hairdryer to heat the winglet enough to straighten out, and then used your trick of using aluminum stock to make a large washer; allowing me to really tighten that rear bolt, pulling everything into alignment without screwing straight through the plastic.

I stay i shape with my own Gym I have had since 1986. I'm hooked so use 7 days/week. On back day, 3 sets of 10 pull-ups are part of that routine. Only post to provide inspiration re no matter how old can stay fit! It's in my Man Cave/Office. No excuses would feel guilty if I didn't use every day! Still making a few modes buy found a great C8 Trained Tech so no longer doing my own oil changes except on my Street Rod. This is a cross brace added to my E-Ray.
