I hate to use the old cliche, but ours is a better value.

Stupid article you don't really cross shop those cars. It won because it is a Ferrari is just dumbass. Just page filler. I cannot afford a Ferrari would love to drive one. But to say a product is better because of it's nameplate is asshattery

The ONLY feature that the Z06 has that I prefer over the Ferrari is the availability of a manual transmission. Otherwise, it’s all Ferrari

As far as I can tell, business insider is a complete clickbait site that will come up with anything that they think will get your click.

I'm not biting, and neither should you.

PS: Ferrari and Corvette are very different products and business plans, and you don't need anyone else to tell you that. I'd rather click on a picture of a cute puppy if I am going to be lured into feeding the internet ad business.

And, exactly where would the magazine get a ZR1 to test? They've only begun shipping the car....

I bought my first car in 1958. In 1961 I bought my first Corvette. I was 20.

Over the last 60 years I've owned about 100 cars. I've owned and driven Corvettes a lot of miles - more than 700K as of now. My '15 C7 has 64,000+ on it - I really really like my C7 - best Corvette yet.

In those 60 years I have owned three cars that still make my heart go "pitter pat"....

a 1954 MG TF (first year the headlights went into the fenders)
a 1963 Porsche 356 B (bought in '65)
and a 1988 Ferrari 328 GTB

Yes, yes, my C7 is much faster than my Ferrari. Yes, the C7 is more comfortable. Yes, the C7 has more trunk space (Ferrari is mid-engine). The C7 Gets half again as good of gas mileage as the 30 year old Ferrari....

But, if I had to sell one of the cars the C7 would go.... fortunately, I don't have to make that decision.

You just don't understand the magic of a Ferrari until you drive one... and, yes, I drive mine. I've put 40,000 miles on mine in a bit less than five (5) years...

Why am I supposed to care what a writer from Business Insider thinks of a Z06? Really....who cares.

Many car people enjoy learning different perspectives about cars. I love cars, have for more than 70 years.... I'm sure I'm not alone.

The [I]Business Insider piece was actually quite a well-written piece and extremely complimentary of the Z06.

Why even bother writing this article at all? You read through what each has to offer, and ultimately they don’t even actually compare the 2, instead just saying the Ferrari is better because it’s a Ferrari.

The author of that article has his opinions and that's OK. I've just never had a real desire to own a Ferrari much less spend $250K on one.

I bought what I wanted in a sports car. My C7 didn't disappoint after buying it.
