There are delete plates all over the Internet for Miatas, F-body's, C5s etc. Not asking about legality. Deleted them in all my C5s. Makes for a more open feel with the top out.

The only "kits" I've ever seen were called screwdrivers.

Awhile back, someone posted about removing them, and used a scrivet to fill the hole(s).
There are other threads where the removal instructions are posted in conjunction with replacement visors.

This may fall under manufacturing laws, and mattress/pillow tag removal by the consumer, for all I know, but I use mine all the time, so am curious about why someone would want to remove them. Coupe? Vert?

The issue is the trim piece clips to a metal plate on the visor arm and not the header panel. Also, you have the other side where the visor clips.
A nice kit would have a flat replacement for the clip part and then a cover for the outboard hole.
Working with the guy who makes the C5 kit to make a C7 kit.
Was trying to see if it existed already... can't find it.

My old custom targa Z06 with full visor delete. I custom made a new header panel with no holes and had it wrapped in matching vinyl.

I use mine occasionally, tho it does block vision if not twisted all the way towards the windshield. If I remove mine my passengers would't be happy with no mirror to use in there.

After participating on this forum I'm starting to understand why it's SO RARE to find older Corvettes in original un-molested condition.

[/QUOTEIf you are still looking for a kit. I found a delete kit at Corvette Clips for $15. 00 plus shipping.

Corvette Clips has them for the C5 on their website, but not the C7.

If you haven't found anything yet send me a PM and I can work with you to design and 3D print a cover. I've been considering a delete on my C6 because the driver's side mirror cover is broken and I think the replacement visors are too pricey because I rarely use them, and as you pointed out it would be a cleaner look with the top off if the visors were gone.

My garage door opener is one of those buttons on my visor and my M2W on/off function is encoded to the other 2 buttons. I actually use the visor but your car your way is my motto! As long as you keep the stock parts to give the next owner, what's the harm?
