I know there are plenty of threads on this topic, but in the beginning I was led to believe I think by the dealer that anything I saw on my phone Android phone, it would mirror it to the nav screen I think that's not right not true. I have heard though that the iPhone mirrors the phone on the nav screen with Apple carplay. Is there any way of adding apps to Android auto, I don't think so but it's worth a shot

Once you are running Android Auto connected to the display you can access any Android Auto compatible app that you also have installed on your phone. For example, I primarily use Waze and Spotify, both controlled from the infotainment screen in the car.

i have a Torque app, on my phone that gives me info from the OBD reader, but there is no option for in on the screen. i will look at the list you provided. thank you sir.
all those apps are music and chat items, thanks anyway, i should have been more specific in what i was looking for.

I'm surprised that Torque doesn't have an Android Auto plugin. I've been using that app for a couple of years on my Subaru. You just reminded me to checking this out on the C7.
