Default Sequential tail lights

I put a set of Digi-tails in my 73 Camaro.

https://www.facebook.com/BlueRibbonAutoRestoration/videos/1186416804802342/
Anything like that out there for a Z06?

Digitails doesn't have them, but might get enough interest to do something. I emailed them and they can do something if there's enough interest.

There is a Corvette sequential tail light kit made by a vendor (Can't remember who) that is carried and sold by several Corvette suppliers. You can Google it. There are also a couple of videos on YouTube of the kit installed on C6s. Although the kit is currently only sold for C6s, I'm sure it's the same installation for C7s. The only problem is it's a pain in the a$$ to drop the rear bumper on a C7 to wire it in. I just dropped the bumper on my car to wire in a brake light pulser and there's a couple of videos on YouTube on how to do that if you're so inclined.

No one makes one for the C7 yet. I've been googling.

Webelectric has them for C6. I have a set for sale as I went with Eagle Eyes.

Not bashing. I support anyone that is happy with their mod. But this is a fad created by Ford on the mustang and Audi although they have more of a sweep. I wouldn't do it on a C7.

A fad going more than 40 years.

If you don't like it, don't respond.

Definitely not a recent fad - more like 50 years! Was it the 67 Shelby GT500 or the Thunderbird with the first sequential tail lights?

That being said. you really need more than 2 lights per side to make it look decent - wouldn't do it to a C7 myself.

I had the C6 version when I had my C6 daily driver and had nothing but aggravation. When it worked, It looked great, but moisture would creep into the connector and eventually it would stop working and cause the tail lights to fail. The vendor replaced it for me and within a few months, the same issue. The manufacturer didn’t want to stand behind it. Bottom line, it was a poor design by a small company. I wouldn’t install one again unless the connection was completely enclosed.

Does anyone know how many LED’s are in each C7 tail light?

This is why I like the digi-tails. It's a completely new circuit board.

65 Thunderbird was the first. You need three lights for it to look right.

If you can get to the connector that fails, it can be made water-tight.

I liked them on my '11 Mustang GT and they look good on the OP's Camaro.. I would be interested if it's a reasonably simple mod.. Did a "super sequential mod" on the 'stang that took an hour.

Yup, the Cougar was the first, and it was amazing...
I put them on my C6, it was cool, a very unobtrusive mod that added a zing to the rear light arrangment... Just like the flickering brake lights, they catch the attention of the eyes, a brain thing built into our vision center...

Audi has taken it to new levels...

Uh....no. The Thunderbird was first.
