If you go with leave in ones, be sure to keep the tool in your car so they can be removed if needed in case you are ever towed. Those spots are used for tie downs.

Reverse Logic is a Forum vendor. Can be used bolted in or just installed if you are doing the work. Since a Z06 has side skirts may need the 1 inch high pads vs snap in.

Some rocker panels are close to the tie-down slots that others. Hence 2 1/2 max recommendation form GM
ADVANTAGE OF REVERSE LOGIC
If going to a dealer with my C6 I always put my jack pads in a clear plastic bag on the passenger seat and would tell the Service Writer to be sure the tech used them on their 14 center post lifts. But would they?
When I got my 2014 C7 GM sent a notice to have the dif fluid level checked. I said my usual with my aluminum pads on the passenger seat. The Service Writer (who I knew from my C6) said: "Don't worry, I will insist they use our alignment rack (they only have 1) as we just cracked a Vette rocker panel and are having to have it repaired!"
With the Reverse Logic pads you can take them apart with the supplied Allen wrench, then remove the white section and bolt them temporally in the Vette. Drive to the dealer than you are sure they are used! They should be removed after the work is done as the stick down and could hit a speed bump etc.
I keep them in my rear compartment in case of a flat etc. I use them like normal jack pads, insert and then remove when finished jacking!

Not the cheapest but as good as you'll find... especially if you wish to leave them in. They are aluminum and won't deteriorate or fall out. And, I've $5K watches that have not come in as nice a container.

The jack is a factor as the jack arm or body could hit even if the jack saddle clears!
Sorry. A little slow on the up-take. I understand. To answer your question - not sure. I would assume it depends on the type of jack. I just know that the ones I installed will displace any pressure from the jack preventing damage.
