Default One wheel

If I jack up one rear wheel using a puck can I put one jack stand under the rear aluminum lift member near that wheel just for safety while leaving the car jacked for a day or two with the wheel off.or do I risk cracking the aluminum jack point if the jack fails with only one jack stand in place. Thanks.

Should be no problem I would lower the jack some and get most of the weight on the jack stand.

Read so much about the C7 having aluminum cross bar that can crack easily if not jacked correctly that is why I am asking.
