First Wax Job for the GS
Got up early this morning before the heat (going to be 95 today) and washed/waxed the GS.
Every time I use Meguiar's products I'm amazed with the outcome.
Don't know why as I've been using their products about 30 years and sold them along with dozens of other's through my auto parts stores for over 15 years.
Use the "Scratch X2.0" to remove some stubborn water spots on the carbon flash windshield supports and 'Ultimate Liquid Wax" on the rest.
First time waxing a C7 and it really didn't take too long.
Anyone else sold on Meguiar's products or have received good results with other wax/detailing products?
Anyone getting else getting ready to wax their C7 for the first time.
Going to take it for a spin now, thanks in advance for your participation and views.

Have used their products for many years, and always satisfied--especially with the Gold Class + Carnauba line. Just tried Griots Best in Show on my 2018 Stingray. Two coats over 3 weeks. Looks great, but no better than the Gold Class + C I had been using--and quite a bit more expensive. I will say that since I've been using an orbital--Griots, the results seem to be better than putting the wax on by hand--both with the Meg and Griots. Much easier to get a thin, even coat.

Your car looks great but I hate 95 degree weather! These are two of my favorites that I use all the time!

Good products and caring people. Meguiar's tech-line is quick and helpful. My last contact was late last year; the one who respoonded also gave me his personal contact info if I needed it! Above and beyond, imho!

Meguairs makes great products that produce excellent results as evidenced by your Corvette.

I have used their products on and off for about 15 years or so. I'm currently using their Ultimate Fast Finish along with Ultimate Quik Detailer and that combo provides me with great protection (bird bombs don't etch the paint) and great shine. I also find this combo makes it harder for dust to stick to the finish too. What I love about the Fast Finish is that I can do the entire car in about half the time of regular sealants. So I don't mind doing it once a month in order to make sure I have maximum protection from the elements. (in my case bird bombs are my enemy, as there are tons of birds hanging around my work, so I am constantly removing their nastiness from my cars)

I too am a big fan of the Meguiars products - especially the Mirror Glaze line.
My Corvettes (non-daily drivers) get a regular (2x year - March & September) coating with M26 Carnuba wax.
If needed (which is in the winter) it will first be clayed and then glazed with M7 before getting its two top coats of M26 (1 week apart - easy to do when the car sits in the garage unused in the winter).
For my daily drivers, it is C2000 Mild Clay with D155 Detailer, then M20 Polymer Sealant on dark color cars or M21 Synthetic Sealant on our white car.

I was wondering yesterday if it was ok, the wax the black 'hood stinger' decal and didn't even think to call them. Ended up waxing it and seems it turned out great without any issues. Do yo guys wax your stingers and stripe decals?

I have another experience with Meguiar's that is worth mentioning. When I had my C5 I was very active on the Meguiar's forums and was spending at least 4-5 hours a week doing paint correction on it (it was black) I enquired about which Meguiar's products to use, and one of their reps contacted me to ask my address, and then he sent me a box of their products that had to be worth at least $200! These weren't just sample sized bottles of their products, but were full sized bottles! I have tried many different products over the years, but I always keep coming back to their stuff.
