What are your post-purchase regrets?

Burning Brakes
Not waiting just a short time longer to order my Vette, If I'd waited a few weeks, I could have had a 2019 for basically the same price as my '18, and have a year-newer car, NADA-wise, for the eventual day that I sell/trade it. Other than that, I love my GS Vert M7. Picked it up at the Museum, got treated like a rock-star, the wife enjoyed it too, and if not for an ill-timed snow/ice storm that chased us back to NC from Nashville, the trip could not have been any nicer!

BTW, great input as to why the base C7 as a DD would have been a better choice.
I ordered a 19 z06 through Criswell and had it courtesy delivered. It threw a flashing engine code and started running on 7 cylinders at 12 miles and is still in the shop since the first day I had it (going on week 2 now).[/b]
I've wanted the car for so long, not sure I regret anything, but it has definitely taken the fun out of finally getting a C7 z06. Just keep in mind they can and will break, and be prepared for that.

Another convertible regret.

Wanted a 2015 Laguna Blue convertible Stingray with red interior. Wife said that the red would look gaudy with the blue exterior and convinced me to get a black interior. Ordered the car, received it, and happily drove it for 1 year but always regretted not getting the red interior. Was cruising the forum and one of our dealers was selling a 2015 Laguna Blue convertible with red interior for 15% off MSRP. Contacted him and he offered $5000 less than I paid for my car in trade (even though it now had 19k miles). Told the wife I really wanted the red interior and couldn't pass up this deal. Made an epic roadtrip with my son from Florida to Ohio to trade cars. Once my wife saw the new one, she agreed I was correct...the red interior looked great with the Laguna Blue. Everyone happy.
Oh yeah...the new one was a Z06

Only thing I miss on my 1LT base C7 is heated/cooled seats, and auto-dimming mirrors. I have NPP, Navigation, A6 (no A8 issues) and non-Z51 so cheaper tires, and I can get my oil changed at Jiffy Lube without any worry that somebody's going to do the dry-sump procedure wrong. LOL.

Thought it'd be interesting to see what regrets everyone has after buying their C7. I would hope most owners would say they regret nothing, but (for me, at least) there's always a few things nagging in the back of my head, despite how happy I am with the car.
Post a sentence describing the purchase and list your post-purchase regrets.
I bought a brand new black 2018 2LT stingray about 2 months ago. I regret:

I bought a brand new black 2018 2LT stingray about 2 months ago. I regret:
- not going for the z51 package
- not getting a convertible
- buying a 2018 when most cars are 2019 now
