Default Resetting seat memory

I recently purchased a used 2016. Using the directions in the owners manual I can not get the memory seat to accept new setting.

Used the push the set button and immediately pushed the #1 button. what am I doing wrong?

She is in a 2014 and OP has a 2016...not the same.

OP; try swapping key fobs and try it again.

If that doesn't work, make sure the back of the seat is not touching the rear bulkhead at ANYTIME; there is a limit switch and if it gets tagged, the whole seat movement will stop.
