Any chance they would stay on with 3M automotive tape or is that a no go?
The pieces are not that heavy.
I suspect that a premium automotive double sided trim tape would hold. I didn't want to find out that it wouldn't though!
I picked up an 8 oz. can of OEM Delco Carbon Flash Metallic paint in a rattle can for $18 on Ebay. Should be enough to easily spray the four fins.
I would be interested in seeing yours after you paint them, are you going to primer them? I just bought some myself and was going to have a friend of mine that owns a body shop paint them (he still said it would cost me $100.00) but if yours come out good i may just go your route of painting them. Let me know if you would? Thanks
I forgot to mention....since I drilled the holes oversize I used washers on the back end with the fasterners.
Here's a few pics....not great but you'll get the idea.
Before anyone comments on the dirty pipes....haven't cleaned them since a got the car March, 2016. That's over 2 years and 20,000 miles of exhaust. Opted for that rather than painting them black.
Hey dude!, that's cool! ...Gotta get mine done! So, the ones marked as "2"'s go on the driver's side, and the "1"'s to the passenger side? I think I'll shoot the carbon flash metallic this evening!, even though I think it's close enough to not worry about as it is.

Stew24.....Did you get your painted? If so i would be interested in seeing them if you would, also did you have enough paint with the one can?
I picked up a set of these and will be painting them tonight if I have time (GM Carbon Flash rattle can). I'll post some pics when I'm done with them....hoping to install this weekend. For those that have installed these, any tricks for installing without removing the bumper? I'm also thinking of splitting the difference of drilling and using 3M auto tape. I may just go with one bolt and then double side tape the whole thing. Not a fan of putting holes in the bumper...

Painted and turned out ok. Not completely happy with it but for a relatively cheap plastic part, meh. Lessons learned: don't bother with adhesion promoter spray; order 2 can of spray paint if getting the small OEM cans and don't bother sanding... causes way more work in the end. I'll install these tomorrow probably with follow up photos if I get to it.

I think they turned out pretty good from what I can see in the photos and yes please send more after your install if you have time. I haven't done anything with mine yet and thanks for sharing this
Although for a more expensive recent offering from C7 Carbon my install PDF shows three ways to remove the lower OEM diffuser so you can install the fins refereed to in this thread: http://netwelding.com/Rear_Diffuser.pdf
There are my detailed step by step pics and text, one from C7 Carbon in their instructions and a third from a forum Post with good pics I include.
It also contains a lot of info and pics on what the fins do (they are actually called fences.) For fun bought a 300 page book on race car areo and put in some key points and pics from it. Most, like I did, are adding for "looks" but they are functional and provide rear downforce with less drag that a spoiler-at higher speeds!
More expensive but install info includes How To remove lower OEM Diffuser without removing the bumper so it can be drilled to hold simple fins or it!
Not impressed with the fit of the EOS fins. The template is garbage and while the fit may be acceptable for someones first car with upgraded hub caps, DIY bubbly window tint and rust spots covered with decals, it's not what I feel is an acceptable fit for our cars. You get what you pay and while I like the overall look, I'll be going with a molded single piece diffuser down the road. These fins look good from afar but up close the gaps are noticeable.
Anyone looking to go this route, definitely remove the stock diffuser. Can't image trying to get things lined up with it still on and would probably make the end result even worse fit wise. Test fit
I considered these fins before ordering my diffuser. Figured it would be a headache with installing it perfect aligned and having the paint match the carbon flash.
