MRC update question?
Hey all, took my 2016 Z51 in for the update and after waiting a while they told me it was best to let her sit overnight after getting it installed. They said I could take her home but it sounded safer to listen to the gm tech. Anyone else have to leave it overnight for this?

Drive it home and let it sit overnight. I drove mine home immediately after having it installed and let it sit safely in my garage overnight.

Melting Slicks
Tadge says it doesn't have to sit at the dealer, so that's good enough for me. Anyway, I drove 35 miles from the dealer and noticed the difference in ride immediately after sitting no longer than 15 min. Let it sit for 23 hours at home and it was about the same the next day, which is good.

Okie cool, sounds pretty par for the course then. Already home so I will pick her up in the morning. I’m pretty excited to test out the difference. Thanks for the replies! 😀

Safety Car
It doesn't need to sit anywhere. It's *software* fer cryin out loud! It's not like software gels or whatever. True it's software to tell other parts of your car to gel or change stiffness or whatever but that's not really gonna change either. Worse case just leave it in Tour mode for the ride home.
