For me it really depends on the exterior color. I ordered black wheels, because I just wanted something different. Well, different for me. I'd had silver wheels on my vehicles for decades. Silver wheels are quite rare on C7's around here.

Of those two, the silver looks better to me. However, I am liking the look of machine faced wheels.

Black......black.... !! To me the silver looks unfinished, drab, like you took a beautiful car and then chintzed out on the wheels, may as well put chrome on ( ugh ! ). But it's your car, put what you want on, not what we say we would/like !!

You rang?

A better option is chrome. See below for an example. Black tends to disappear into the wheelwell and looks like old taxi cabs or police cars.

I do like the Z06 style wheels better.
Skirts would look nice IMO.

Yeah... i was thinking of adding the 3/4 skirts but i wanted to get the wheels figured out first.

IMHO, black wheels are the easiest way to make a vette look ugly. That said, 50 percent of the vette crowd seem to love black wheels, so it’s great to have choices. Some guys like slim women, others prefer medium size and another group really goes for full figured types. Different strokes for different folks.

My vote is machined. You get the best of both worlds.

I jus bought a set of black Z06 wheels for my 2018 GS. Can’t wait to get them put on.
It is still a Corvette no matter what!!!!!

Realizing that it's a personal preference, the trouble with black wheels is that they always look drab and dirty. They tend to turn brown after some brake dust collection. The polished aluminum Motorsport wheels are the best IMHO.

I think it looks good either way.
But with the Black wheels, I'd personally break up more of the White.
Change out the Shiny Fish and Emblems to Carbon Flash.
And maybe a dark tint for the windows.

Good call.... this is really about a overall look than just wheels.

I felt black wheels complete the overall look on a white car..... since there are no silver parts on the car and it has lots of black/carbon flash detail black wheels complete the look.

YES black wheels get lost in the wheel well / black hole so to speak. And in photos especially they dont even show up! I totally get why LOTS of people dont like them.

I may end up just keeping the silver ones because they do look nice as well.
