Default Map/Dome light out

When this happens, what are you replacing them with? Brighter LEDs?

Any recommended vendors?

Thanks in advance!

Sylvania or Phillips T10 (168/194) LEDs. A bit more expensive, but will last longer than the car.

When one of mine went out on my 2014, I was told the bulb cannot be changed and that it requires R&R of entire fixture, which includes the bulb. Mine was done under warranty, and the windshield trim must be removed to do the replacement.

Dealer confirms this. It’s the entire assembly that has to be replaced.
