I don't know about your driving habits, but every time I took mine over 100 mph i'd be thinking about that patch job..
With only 500 miles on tires take the hit and put a new one on..(my opinion)
Good Luck !

Plugged ones just like that. Did it myself and run 180 on them. No issues.
If you get a new tire put that old one for sale for cheap. Someone here will buy it.
Not only would I plug that, I would use that sh1tty Wal-Mart rope plug kit and never worry about it.
Me, too. I externally plugged one in the shoulder and it held air until the tire wore out two years later. I took it easy with it for the first few rides and then forgot about it. Same with my motorcycles, too

I have the rope-type repair kit and I thought of doing that, but this is not a direct repair. Meaning, the screw is not a clean perpendicular puncture. It is going into the tire at an extreme angle and sometimes, those can be a real problem. On a car with NO spare, I decided not to chance it.
I had one similar to that (screw rather sideways) and the tire shop just pulled it out and it never leaked.
Same here about six months ago, but had to unscrew mine with a screwdriver. No leakage and we were both lucky. Had I not noticed it might easily have been forced in further over time. I check my tire pressure on the DIC every time I pull out of garage the first time for the day.
Maybe by the time I need tires the A/S3 will be available for the GS/Z06 like it currently is for the Stingrays. Maybe they'll be less prone to pick up screws and nails.
