My 2019 GS has 300 miles on it and I already picked up a screw in the left front tire. The "Platinum" service package I purchased with the car does NOT cover tire road hazards. Of course, Michelin won't cover it since it's not the tire's fault (understandable). The screw is too close to the sidewall for the dealer to attempt a repair, so I am $500 out of pocket for a new tire! YEA! AWESOME! 8-(
I get those when they are building around me. (find the builder to sue!) And sticky tires. I must have had 4 with the C5, 2 with the C6. One with the C7. Looks far enough away from the side wall and repairable to me, of course I'm not the tire expert. Look inside the tire, get another opinion, as a proper plug works.

Yep I agree. Try a shop. Had one of my C6 tires plugged. No issues at all.

I've had worse. Go to a Discount Tire near you and have them patch it up.
I had both a screw and a nail in both rear tires within 1k miles. Both repairable by tireshops. Definitely look in to one.
I don't know about your driving habits, but every time I took mine over 100 mph i'd be thinking about that patch job..
With only 500 miles on tires take the hit and put a new one on..(my opinion)
Good Luck !

the minute after you buy a vette, enjoy the glow, then get back into the used parts forum and find a replacement set of tires. guys are always taking off oem for their preferred wheels and shoes, so get yourself a set of OEM's takeoffs, or at the very least, buy at least one of each from a tire store - front and rear, WHEN THEY ARE ON SALE, and keep in the garage for the inevitable, "can't fix it" flat you'll have. you can't change the nature of the beast, but you can at least time your way into a cheaper replacement. after the unfixable flat is not the time to buy.
