Default Display Mode

For two years I've not used the display mode that shows voltage, coolant temp, and other readings at the right of the display. I've studied the manual and can't find it. When I was on the road and it overheated (which I posted here a few weeks ago), I went through every selection I could, but didn't find it. The analog temperature display just gives approximate values.

I thought it was on the info option, but it isn't there. It's a 2014.

Nope. That sets up the pocket gauges.

Make sure you are in Tour mode. Click the left arrow on the right side of the steering wheel. A menu pops up. The top choice is an "i" for "info" That includes your trip meters, engine hours, etc. The second choice is a "Perf" for performance. That's the one you want. Scroll to the second choice and press the middle button to invoke it. The default there is a digital speedometer in the center and all the info you are describing on the right in digital readouts. You get "engine" temperature and "oil" temperature there. The coolant temperature is an analog gauge at the far right bottom. It's not unusual for these temps to be in the 220 range.

I think what you're looking for is Touring Display Theme with Perf selected. You get the picture of the little white car and when using the arrow up/down buttons it changes to the info list on the right.

Ah! Another way to do it. Note the above is in Sport Mode.

I still don't get the display. Scrolling past the default digital speedometer in Perf never gets to the desired indications.

When I did get the display, I saw that the 220 on the analog gauge is nowhere close, and that no matter what the conditions (except my noted overheat when the fan didn't come on) in always stays on what it indicates as 220.

The digital temps do not displace the digital speedometer. They are to the RIGHT of the major display and stay put if you scroll from the digital speedometer through the other options. You can see that in the post above by Tyboo. He shows a picture of the car and the temps (+ tire pressure, etc.) to the right. He's in Sport Mode when he does this. In Tour Mode the picture of the car is replaced by the digital speedometer.

No, I think it's pretty much the same as you suggested. I was out if the garage taking pics for my reply when you answered the gentleman. I believe that is the Tour display in my pic - I forced it to stay that way. The drive selector is in Sport mode but the sync display to mode is off.

It is not real intuitive getting around the many DIC choices, at least in my 2014. When the OP gets it he will probably not even remember the steps he used, but he will like it! I have to figure it out every time I want something different.

In Perf, I don't get the digital speed except as a small number above the other displays. I've tried Tour, Sport, and even Track and it's the same.

I used to use the data display often, and I didn't find it hard to reach. I think it has gone AWOL..
