Sorry if this is a dupe. I opened the email showing my monthly diagnostics report and found this today. I've already had the $350 upgrade performed and according to the numbers it was successful. Guess I'll drop by the dealer tomorrow to see what this is.
Another reason I am glad I just got the base Stingray without the MR suspension, eLSD differential, coolers, and other stuff to quit working..
My 2014 it still doing great.

This has nothing to do with something breaking. It was an upgrade performed incorrectly by a dealer.

Correct. It should be a simple flash of software. Nothing more. I'll post results when it's completed.
But I will admit something I posted a while back about the original $350 upgrade. I simply don't feel much of a difference from the original settings. I'm hoping this new adjustment will solve the issue.
For those of you who own a 2017 GS with FE6. I posted the following results back in May. I guess the results were wrong but I'll see when I go to the dealer today.
My 2017 GS w/o Z07 (FE6) was completed successfully. These are the "after" settings.
84213967 - Updated Operating System
84421869 - Real Time Damping

I have a 2017 GS w/o Z07 and with FE6 and had the upgrade done. My part numbers and info are the same for the operating system but different for the other info.
84213967 Updated Operating System
84375894 New Calibration to support performance parts and motor sports catalog customers.
Not sure why the difference, but unlike you, I noticed a significant improvement in the damping, especially in Sport mode, after the car sat overnight. Any chance your dealer did not do a complete install of the upgrade? Hope everything gets resolved for you.

Phil
I scheduled the service for this Thursday. I'll post results when completed.
I had the same result as poster "phil hunter"...I paid for the upgrade in March...I went in for the "recall" and after a long conversation and looking at the techs computer when it was plugged in to my car and GM's servers decided to NOT change the settings to those on the recall notice.
Be careful what you do...go through the thread completely...make up your own mind...report back PLEASE what you learn and decide to do.

This whole issue is totally confusing. After reading post #7, then your's, and every single post in your link, I still have no clue whether or not I should have the recall performed. Is it possible I'm one of only 26 cars in the US? I doubt it. Is the upgrade ending in 69 the be all end all of upgrades? Who the hell knows. I will take all this information to the dealer Thursday and discuss it with them. I guess it's possible the upgrade ending in 69 was messed up but again, I doubt it. It sure would be nice to get my $350 back but again, I doubt it. We shall see....

Its a cluster **** for sure...As I wrote last in that thread, I like the outcome of "whatever" Mag Ride Upgrade I received. I could tell the difference...I believe the recall softens the suspension compared to what I have and I don't feel I need it...Touring and Eco are fine now...So is Sport and Track...I could tell a good difference in my first ride.

Just got back from the dealer. Had the recalibration performed. During the short, 10 mile drive home I didn't feel any difference in Tour, Sport or Track modes. But I'm not sure if it has to sit overnight for the full effect to occur. I'll see how it feels tomorrow.
What’s the real time damping part number after the ‘fix’?
I just checked and, as far as I can tell the numbers didn't change from before. Unless they haven't updated the system yet.
Real time damping is still 84421869.

Your experience is not unique. There can be a placebo effect - and I might be suffering from it.
That said, if you drove it home immediately after the download you likely need to wait until today to measure the full effect.
If they didn't handle the download correctly , that's another issue. The best way to tell is to look at the Tech's computer when its plugged into your car. I insisted on being with the tech when I went in the last time so I could personally verify the codes.

Well I took it for a 20 mile ride today and, to be honest, I still don't feel much of a difference. Maybe a tad softer in Tour mode (which I rarely use) but no noticeable difference in Sport mode. And steering feel in Tour, Sport and Track feel the same. I need to do a bit more research to determine if the recalibration was actually successful. I've about given up on this whole process to be quite honest.

I still don't feel any difference since the recall recalibration. Going back to Chevy to see what they recorded in their system and compare it with the expected results. I'm getting really tired of this crap....
