What year is that? My 2017 has different icons/graphics.
Once again: Canada. Year isn't the issue. Canadian cars have more symbols. Example: American Full Tank =1, American Empty tank = 0. Canadian full tank = filled in dot. Canadian empty tank = dot that is empty in the middle. Compare gauges across the board and you find similar differences.

Cars manufactured in Japan and Europe that had or have the intended high sales volume in those countries then imported here.... the gas filler is on the right hand side. ( originally the drivers side when development took place)
almost every car manufactured in North America regardless of brand has the gas filler on the left driver side.

Glad you put almost. My 1970 Dodge Challenger had the filler on the right. Drove me nuts.

there are exceptions too on the other side (right passenger)... just off the top of my head. Honda S2000, Mitsu EVO 8/9/10
Also I'm pretty sure any modern Subaru has the gas tank filler on the right passenger side no matter where it's build. Almost all BMWs its on the right passenger side...it's a trip!
