Default First Vette!

Hey All!

Made a trip over to Spokane, Wa, and we're coming home with a torch red 2017 GS! Only 1800 miles on it! I feel we made a great buy since it was at a BMW dealership. We weren't planning on buying anything today, but it was too good to pass up.
Anyway, just wanted to share Super excited!

Looks like I might be next. Making a deal here in Montana on a 2017 with the ZR1 package. I was headed to Mustang land but they are having a world of problems with the 2018 GT and this is a lot more car for not a lot more money. Anything to be concerned about? The car has less than 3k miles so its a baby. Someone lost a job and had to trade it in and it's been sitting for awhile at a dealer. Oddly it has the Nitto Inyo tires. Are those any good?

I am positive there was not a ZR1 corvette in 2017. The First C7 body style Corvette that is a ZR1 is a 2019.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I have been considering a C7 (among several other vehicles) for a few months now. Did a ton of research (and some of it honestly scared me a little), but when the smoke cleared, it was the Vette that kept pulling at my heart.

I was considering the Z51, but knew I'd either have to find one with the Z06 grill/spoiler/side skirts already added by the previous owner or add them myself. After more thinking I was like... Why am I not just getting a Grand Sport??

Long story short... Found the one that fit the bill (minus the tranny... Yes, it has the dreaded A8 and maybe a little the color, though red is growing on me) . Local trade, barely used, great price. I think in part because the sales manager screwed up and had the mileage at 17,000 instead of 1700 when they got the car in for trade! We literally had to fix the paperwork at signing. I honestly think they booked the car out wrong because of it. Big win for me! Vettes sell for a premium in my area.

Dodge Charger in the pic is my husband's '18 Scat. It was a little nerve racking driving it home last night, but I got acquainted with her pretty fast

I can't help you too much except to say, drive them both. See which speaks to you. The '18 stang would be under warranty should any problems arise. I considered a Mustang for approximately 1 min... Then after I passed 8 of them on the road in that 1 minute, right next to 12 Camaro's (exaggerating for effect , I changed my mind.

To me, there is nothing that compares looks-wise to the C7 Vette (minus an exotic). I literally had a crowd around it at the gas station, the hostess at the restaurant complimented me on the car and my husband said people were breaking their necks to look at it. It's just that beautiful!
