Oil changes

Went today to get my Free second oil change besides the first 500 miles for pump. I was told it expired July 30 due to lt being 2 years since I bought the car in August 2016. Anyone know anything about this. If it is true how can I get around it. Dealer says he can not help. Missed it by 2 weeks.

Yup......your new C7 has a 2-year window to exercise those oil changes.

Bummer. I see for 2019 it's down to only 1 free oil change (not counting the dry sump 500 mile). It was 4, then 2, now 1.

Why? I used all 4 of mine successfully. Mobil 1 oil + OEM ACDelco filter.

Sorry to hear you lost out on a free one - but, why not head over to Walmart - pick up (2) Mobil 1 jugs, an oil filter (maybe $60 in total) and do the change yourself. I just did my first one on my C7 (new to me) and I just took my time, jacked it safely, and the change took me no time at all... Plenty of videos on how to do it - make sure you watch the right video cause a dry sump oil change is slightly different than a Vette without that setup...
