Insurance?
State Farm has offered me an auto policy for a 2019 Grand Sport that I will take delivery on in two weeks with zero $ deductible comprehensive; $500 collision deductible; $250k/$500k/$100k liability that ties into my $1M umbrella, driven under 12K miles annually for $92.02 per month.
I also have my homeowners, two other autos a Harley and a 25' power boat covered by State Farm. I'm 77 yrs. old and married. Have been a life long State Farm customer.
My question is should I spend time shopping the Gran Sport policy around or am I likely not able to do any better elsewhere?
Thanks for your input.

It's very difficult to compare premiums because there are so many factors, but this seems high to me.

If you're a costco member, check out Ameriprise.

I have basically the same policy with 200 dollar colliston with State Farm and my payment is about the same a few bucks higher. You can shop around but I have been with State Farm forever, currently 3 cars, homeowners, and for me their service is worth a few extra bucks. Plus in the Winter months when my Z06 is in storage I reduce the coverage and save a couple hundred bucks.

That's not necessarily that bad, but your $0 deductible Comprehensive is driving up the Premium. Go with $1,000.00 deductible, unless you don't have the $1,000.00.....in which case you might not be able to afford a new C7. But that's another issue.
If you don't bundle with SF, I doubt you'll do better elsewhere.

As mentioned, anything we do will be an apples-to-oranges comparison. If you care, you'll need to get some other quotes. Keeping in mind there are many companies you don't want to be involved with.
We've had all of our insurance with State Farm for 35+ years- 3 cars, house, Umbrella, LTC, and maybe something I forgot.
About three years ago USAA gave me a quote to switch everything to them except the LTC, and their total premiums were much higher for the package, I think almost twice as much. You might save money, you never know until you ask.
Our State Farm auto policies also have a guaranteed renewal clause- as long as I pay the premiums and maintain a valid license. Of course, if they got mad at me then the premiums could go up a lot but at least I'd have coverage while looking around for something else.
I'm a few years younger than OP but slightly lower coverage limits (bigger umbrella policy). Somehow, my driving record has stayed clean.
We pay about $660/yr for the 2017 Z51.

^ yah they say you should shop around every 3 years..loyalty in the insurance game is a losing proposition.

We were with Allstate for over 30 years, 3 cars, home, life but we shopped around this year. Ended with with Travelers and cut a pretty good amount, almost half. We pay $800 per year for our GS. Didn’t get a call or email asking why we left. There is no loyalty in insurance, shop around.

I at 69, and 32 years with State Farm I left them last year. No tickets or accidents and my premiums slowly kept going up with BS explanations. I left them too, so shop around. Deals ouit there.

Just over $600 a year.

OP,
Take your complete package, including your million dollar umbrella, and see what Nationwide, Allstate, Geico, Amica, can quote you.
I don't have an umbrella liability policy as you do, since I don't insure my home. Thusly, I cannot bundle my vehicles with a home owners policy.

I've been with State Farm for around twenty-five years. I presently have five cars, one truck, enclosed trailer, Harley, home and an umbrella policy. My 17 GS is under $800/year, my six year old truck is over $800/year. I figure they're screwing me on the truck, but I'm more than making that up on the rates I'm paying for the agreed value policies on my other hot rods/toys. I can also suspend the coverage on the GS in the winter months if I'm not driving it.

You are usually wasting time and money going with the big insurance companies with a car like the corvette. You can get a quote online from the Corvette Museum and most likely save a ton of money with full coverage. The car must be garaged and not your daily driver though.

My insurance company is same as the corvette museum. Same type of insurance no garage needed even though mine is.
Can someone tell us what the museum charges?

Change your zero deductible and check with Esurance.
