Pictures to verify mileage increase yesterday after catch can install
I took first pic with my Iphone 7 enroute to Tracy's shop.....69 mph on cruise, ECO mode, getting 26.5 mpg.
I used my Verizion SyncUP electronic plug in device which is an alarm combo unit, plus recording of all trips distance, speed, mileage etc for documentation as I thought forum members may want a review of the before and after..notice on the second pic the date is also on the after trip screen review to validate this trip occurred yesterday after leaving Tracy's Shop and install of his catch can. This was also in ECO mode....moderate traffic temp 91 degrees. overcast rain ahead. Shell 93 Octane always used.
My return trip was 96 miles driven, 1 hour 30 minutes recorded drive time, averaging 31.0 MPG, 6:43 pm eastern time, to 8:13 pm eastern time. From Lakeland, Florida to Deltona, Florida. all on Interstate 4 moderate to heavy traffic. I drove the 69 mph in hopes of not having to brake, downshift gears and change the fuel being used in a steady 96 mile trip. Had about half a tank of fuel on board. 2016 Z06, 13, 776 miles when first recorded stock speedo pic.
For the doubting Thomases' they also said Trump would or could never get elected! They also said we could never fly to the moon! If you want to know why mileage is increases slightly give a call to Tracy, he is the engineer and is extremely well versed in all aspects of internal engine combustion aspects..race and stock, he knows what works and what doesn't. Ring his bell....
941-799-7934 or 727-235-1713 or also ask for Matt Sorian
The third speedo pic shows 11,999 miles speed 68 in Sport mode only getting 24,6 at 67-68 mph indicated, longer trip of 236.0 miles so this was probably a more accurate record on longer drive.

It's not your catch can. You likely had a predominant headwind one direction, and a tailwind the other.

OP, it is simply impossible for a catch can to increase your gas mileage by over 15%. That is complete and utter nonsense.

Yup, you guys got me - except I don't own a pickup, lifted or not. And I really don't much care whether somebody I don't know and will never meet on an anonymous internet car forum gets butthurt by something I post. Thanks for your concern, it's appreciated.

Let's watch one of my favorite YouTube engineers discussing the catch can. Jason....go...

OP, are you aware of the fact that east bound coast-to-coast flights are approximately 1 hour shorter on average than westbound flights? Aircraft are cruising at the same airspeed, but the predominant winds in the US are westerly. I looked at your route, and on your return trip from Lakeland to Deltona on I-4 you likely had a significant southwesterly tail wind because that is the predominant wind direction this time of year.

I call total BS on this!! There is absolutely nothing in the design of a catch can that will improve fuel mileage. This claim is as ridiculous as saying that the addition of custom painted valve covers or a chrome plated dipstick improved fuel mileage.

Your claim is absolutely false.
Cry it out snowflake.

I would love to hear the science behind better MPG from circulating gases in a different direction. OP, you have to many variables at play to claim any one thing improved your MPG. A catch can in no way interacts in a way that will give any let alone substantial MPG gain. I would love to hear the installers Hypothesis on how the MPG gain is achieved by routing blow by gas through a can to remove oil from the vapor.
