Default Paperwork on Custom Orders

Realizing it may differ from dealership to dealership, what typically should I receive in confirmation and paperwork when I order a custom build? I would imagine something that details:
  1. The build components;
  2. The deposit made; and
  3. Something official specifying the out-the-door price.
I would guess there would be signatures here and there as well...

Any advice?
Thanks !

My thinking: Anything they have or need to process the order specific to you as the Customer, you should have a copy of.

Aside from the receipt indicating deposit, you'll get a print out from GM corporate workbench indicating all the RPO codes (i.e. options selected).

I sent my deposit to my ordering dealer a few weeks ago. I received receipt of that check but have to wait until after the 30th, at which time they can actually place the order for my Grand Sport because I'm ordering Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic. At that time, my order will go to 2000 status quickly as this dealer is one of "the biggies"

I have from GM GlobalConnect an Order Detail. My order is at event 2000 (today). All the build options are listed, of course. The terms of the sale (MSRP and discount) are written in pen on the side of it with the final OTD price at the bottom. Once the order moves to 3000 (which, I think, he said tonight), my credit card will be dinged for the deposit and I'll receive a text receipt.

That's all the paperwork I have. Other than my signature authorizing the deposit to be pulled from my card, there are no signatures. Seems weird to me.
