Default SunVisor Warning stickers

Has anyone tried to peel off the seat belt/airbag warning labels off of the sun visors? I don't really mind them, but I think It would have a cleaner look without them. Is there a legal reason that they shouldn't be removed? Will there be left over residual adhesive on the visor?

It can be done with patience. Do NOT pull HARD or the fabric will also come loose. Take your time, nice and steady, with a hairdryer or heat gun on low. Use a plastic scraping tool to help you lift it.

On the 3LT with alcantara/felt liners, it left some sticky/nasty residue that I haven't been able to fully remove.

Do a search before you attempt this. There are many cases of "I should have just left it alone".

I would leave them as is or buy one of the many covers that you can place over them.

While some have had great results removing them, I went the more conservative approach of a sticker. Actually two--fabric and C7 flags. (Idea courtesy of another forum member).

I wouldn't mind buying a cover but they are a little to thick for my liking

I got the peel & stick covers with the C7 crossed flag logo from RPI Designs. You can remove these labels w/o damaging the seatbelt/airbag label.

Have you tried 3M Adhesive Remover yet? That removed the residue from our C6 visors and did not harm anything.
Of course, the adhesive may have been changed...

I can't stand them so I removed them on my 2017. I read all the threads and decided it would be worth the effort.
It took far more work with multiple adhesive removers than I expected, but the end result was worth it. Prior to removing them I looked at all of the products being offered to cover them up but was not impressed with any of them. They all looked like they were trying to cover something up.
Good luck and be prepared for some work if you remove them.

I tried it. It didn’t turn out well with a lot of residue left which I tried delicately to remove with Goo-gone, etc. I ended up buying cover stickers on Amazon and don’t even notice them now.

Default Follow the directions

On my 2017 gs my stickers came off fairly easy with a blow-dryer and a small flat screwdriver to pick away at a corner. And just keep the heat on as you pull away. It may leave a little outline of sticker, but soon will blend in.

Definitely not one of the finer points. However I can live with them, especially considering the remaining beauty of the C7 .

To save me some internet time, does anyone sell stickers that approximately match the optional "Sueded Microfiber" fabric on our visors, steering wheel, etc?
