Oh, good grief. I had students spend 10 times as much effort trying to find a "quick and easy" way to do things and then screw them up in the process. Just take off the d**ned wheels, already.

Use a thin plastic credit card...pops right out...no scratching

Outstanding!!! I just changed mine in only a few minutes. Didn't use any tape or a screwdriver. The best method is to just push the thin credit card or some other thin plastic card in until the cap almost pops out by itself. The longest part of the process was removing the new caps from their plastic wrapper. Thanks banph, I was trying to find a way without removing the wheels.
