As I've written in other posts, '15 2LT, M7, 19k miles. Delaminating windshield replaced under warranty. That's it - car has been flawless.
Now, about my Lexus' (latest!) recall...
I don't see how 15k miles in five years says much of anything about how trouble free a car is. At two years and 16k miles, I've had a windshield washer pump fail, but it seems far too early in the car's life to make a judgement about reliability.
Agree, lets see how its doing around 100k then we'll talk about reliable.

I disagree a TINY bit with this. I believe within 15K-20K miles RELIABILITY will rear it's ugly head if car has a problem(s). Once you drive beyond ABOUT 20K, I believe it becomes more of a NORMAL wear & tear kind of thing. Sure if your Tranny, Engine, Clutch goes Kablooy inside 20K, it's a RELIABILITY problem. After that, your/my abuse of the vehicle becomes more the problem, such as not doing preventive maintenance, beating the car like a race-horse, etc. JMHO like everyone I have one, it's just wrong sometimes (like everyone's).
2014 2LT purchased 10/13. Low VIN. Daily driver. Mostly short trips with occasional longer trips. 15,000 miles. 5 oil changes at dealer. That's it. Period, the end. Most trouble free car I've ever owned. Would you like to hear my BMW stories?
I purchased my 2014 3LT the same time as you did. Daily driver since I retired 2 years ago, has about 23k on the clock. Only problem was the infotainment screen failed (known issue) and was replaced under warranty. This is a great car and even better since I supercharged it!

I agree with you, I bought a 95 Trans Am brand new and immediately had a problem with the windshield wipers as soon as I pulled out of the lot and one week later the starter failed. From that point on, for the next 18 months it was back at the dealer about 30 times. Then it sorted itself out and was great for me for the next 6 months, when I traded it for a 98 Formula.
I have just under 7500 miles on my 2018 now and it has been flawless, so I'm confident that it was put together well and that it's not going to be a lemon. I'm sure some issue will eventually pop up but I doubt it'll just instantly start giving me tons of issues like my Trans Am did.

You may not be alive in 40 years to find out.
Some people don't put many miles on their cars, yet drive them nearly every day. Just depends? I put 100K, on each of my new Cadillacs, Lincolns, AND several Mercedes Benz inside 3 years each. ALL ALL of my cars and diesel trucks had well over 100K miles on them in short order. Reliability has nothing specific to do with anything, esp. miles.

Patently FALSE! ^^^^
Cas and trucks can go 100K with zero problems, or, can be a problem right off the assembly line. Your crazyrob crystal ball is broken.
