As we all know, there are four distinct fobs for the C7. Auto Vert, Auto coupe, Manual Vert, Manual coupe.

My question is: can any C7 fob be programmed to work on any C7? Meaning if I have, say a Manual Coupe (the fob with the least buttons), could I program any of the other three types of fobs and then the extraneous buttons become null and void, or vice versa? Say if I have an Auto Vert (the fob with the most buttons), can I program any of the other fobs and then just lose the remote start/and or top-down feature, because the fob doesn't have those buttons?

Anyone know for sure? Have you actually done it?
