For your general knowledge - I had a 2014 Z51 manual convert. I have had 19 Corvettes over 52 years. I have shown them, raced them & sold them at a dealership in the 60's.
My 2014 I just sold because the car had a bad leather interior that GM refused to acknowledge. The leather started lifting and i wrote and saw several Chevy people. The car was just out of warranty so Chevy said goodbuy. I realize Chevy has a problem so if you have a 2014 and have the same issue good luck. I have given up buying Chevy's for the rest of my limited time here on earth.

Dont go bro remember all the good times you've had in your whip, dont give up on the brotherhood just yet wait it out a bit then get a z06/zr1, or a c8 remember how happy you were when you first got it.

I too have a '14 Z51 (1LT 7MT) Conv which is the 6th (and final as I have just retired) Vette I've owned.
I understand the frustration as you have been a long standing customer of the mark and that the gesture of fixing
it (just) out of warranty would have been a nice gesture on their part. But balance that against your long history with them
and see if that alters your view. If not, best of luck with whatever is next and hope it works better for you.
Well my 14 Stingray, 3LT, Z51, Manual 7 speed car was traded at 4 years and 2 months old. Interior still looked new. Loved that Brownstone interior, one of the best corvette has ever done in my opinion.
Just for general information. I checked and it seems to be a three to four month issue with cars deliverd in the southeast part of the country.
Apparently, they found the suppliern issue and fixed it but they still did not fix me car.
