Is it unusual to have stress crack at the bolts inside the door pillar ?

Thinking about what could do this, improperly jacking the car seems a candidate.

Thank you gentlemen, the car is for sale at a certified Chevrolet Dealer, so pointed it out to them, they shrugged their shoulder. I said thank you very much, but good bye. I like the suggestion that a mild rear end collision, that bowed out the panels, stressed them and they returned to their alignment. Thanks all for your expertise..

Glad it was not your car.

Shrugging their shoulders shows how much they cared about what they are selling. Good on you for being a savvy buyer and asking the right questions and walking when those questions are ignored.

Let us know what you eventually end up getting.
