Happy with your front & backup camera?

I'm totally happy with the cameras. As a result of them I have not scraped my front end parking even once! And the backup camera has helped me avoid crashes and fender benders many times. You're right the quality of the picture sucks but it's generally good enough for those usages. PDR? That should be a lot better. Finally one thing I don't like is when it is raining, sometimes the water dropplets on the rear camera makes it very hard to see. They should have protected that better. Front camera? Rain? Also not that good but I generally only use the front camera when parking so I can just take a little more time. Besides in Phoenix, needless to say, it doesn't rain much.

I just press the camera icon on the screen to turn on the camera manually when I'm parking nose first. No need to go reverse then forward.

I was a little surprised that the resolution wasn't better since my last car didn't have a rear camera. But the resolution is about the same/slightly better than our Cadillac.
I use the front end camera all of the time when I park; the rear is handy, but I'm more old school and checking mirrors/over the shoulder when I back up.

Very simple. Watch the red line. When the red line "touches" the curb or parking stone STOP. You still have about 2 inches but that is fine. You don't want any overhang because overhang means your car is over the curb and there is a possibility that your front end is too low. Why risk it? 2 inches from the curb is enough.

Overall, I'd give it a 7.5/10. The backup camera is a must have and I really appreciate the front camera to keep from scraping the lower air deflectors. They lose points for their lack of resolution, considering other installations (my '11 Mustang GT has a better backup camera) and the front cameras don't resolve color shades well in low light conditions, making missing a parking chock at night a challenge. Glad to have them, but they seem to be sort of slap dash compared to the rest of the car...

The picture quality is not very clear, its the same front and back which tells me its the quality of the camera. My Accord backup camera has a much better picture and my BMW is leaps and bounds better. Cheap camera's,a focus adjustment? Anyone replace theirs with good cameras?

Front and back cameras serve their purpose well, and offer plenty of clarity for their intended use. The trivial things that bother people never cease to amaze me.

Mine (front and rear) are perfect.
Also, the Corvette's view screen is sizeable, unlike the Hondas/Fords I've driven.
