Kudos: Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax
Hey guys,
Im planning to attend a really big Vette show this coming weekend...and wanted to try something new. I've been a "waterless" product guy for the past 2 years, using Meguiars Waterless Wash & Wax. The other day, I was at Walmart and as always I went to the auto section, just to see if something new caught my eye to try.
Well, I tried the Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax and WOW did it work. Again, Im sort of going against not wanting to use a hose, but Im here to say, this stuff REALLY made my car look and feel amazing. The car not only came out super shiny, but it "feels" like I just did a clay treatment...Im talking super smooth...way beyond any car wash I've ever used in the past. It smells like their Detail Spray and Carnauba wax - and it suds up really nice on the car.
Just wanted to share for those that still use a hose to wash there car:
To me a picture is worth a 1000 words - the results (no other products were used to get this result):

I agree. I won a bottle of this at a car cruise and used it on the car 4 days ago for the first time. It definitely does smell better than some car washes I've used before. I noticed that the rinse water tended to bead up and "sheet off" better so, less water to soak up when drying. The main thing was, I did see some extra shine after it was dry.
However, because of the Carnuba wax in it, I am reluctant to use it on my convertible top. I'll use something else for that.
Yes, I would recommend this product.👍

Thanks for the tip Mayor. I too use all the other Meguire's Ultimate line, but I haven't tried the wash & wax. There will be a bottle on the shelf this weekend.

I purchased a bottle some time ago, but an old-school hose&bucket guy so having a hard time convincing myself to use it.
I plan on using it on my new Tacoma Sport tomorrow as a test prior to the GS.

Thanks for letting us know about this product. I'll have to look and see if I can find some around here and give it a try.

I use all their products, Wash, detail spray, clay bars, scratch remover, carnuba wax.
It makes sense to use the same chemical compounds that work together, than to mix and
match other brands.
