So, I was acting like a kid and revved my engine at about 3mph enough to cause the first set of shift lights to come on. Soon after I noticed a pronounced burning smell. Kinda like the smell after you burn food in a pan. Drove it about 5 minutes and parked it for 45. The burning smell wasn't there on startup but came back just a tiny bit after driving for 10 minutes. I didn't damage anything, did I?
IIRC this is a new car, am I right Matthew? If so, it could have just been what my Dad used call the "new" burning off. That would be oils, and solvents used in the manufacture of exhaust components. Nothing to worry about. Now, I hope I'm right. But, keep a check just in case.
Another thought, it could have been something you ran over that got onto the exhaust system. You know, like the neighbors cat.

I get a exhaust smell when getting on it in the cabin. Someone said there is a flap inside the cabin that's for air pressure but never found it
IIRC, it is in the rear, about where the corvette logo is on the back bumper cover.
Supposed to release interior pressure so the hatch closes easier when both windows are up.
If it is similar to the one on my C5, you’ll have to remove the trim panel to actually see it.
